The post below was in my drafts from 2016 (for some reason I didn’t finish or publish it?) It just made me smile and think he has grown up so much since then yet only now is he again thinking about his own style and wanting to look like his favourite YouTuber (who’s name escapes me) and with limits I don’t mind but when I was at school me mum used to say I have to look presentable but once I leave school I can do what I want so I think he’ll have to abide by that especially because Mommy is already sad watching her baby grow up and I can see resistance already.

Anyway here is a draft from 2016

So today was the day that Lincoln and I were going shopping for his hair gel and I decided to make a big thing out of it
We went to the supermarket but they didn’t have any so I decided Boots in Sandbach would be the best place to go, and when we got there I allowed him to choose his own, only steering him to the shelf which was a bottom shelf so he knelt and rubbed his chin as he looked and then chose. He took it to the gel to the counter and although I paid by card he did the rest.

On the way home I saw out of the corner of my eye him put a tiny bit of gel on his finger and even though he had his cap on he smeared it on the side of his hair, which made me smile. He then actually nodded off until we arrived home
