Cold summer, warm fire!

31 May

It’s the last day of May and it’s freezing so we lit the fire, which hasn’t been lit since last year so Reagan had never seen or felt it working and it was fascinating to watch her. It had been lit for a while so the room was warming up when she crawled past and she stopped and felt her face, she then turned away when she couldn’t work out what was on her face. She then kept turning back for a moment then turning away she then started trying to touch the warmth but no matter where in the air touched she couldn’t find what it was? After a few seconds she started to work out it was the bright fire behind the fire guard and moved towards it although she was apprehensive (and there was no danger) she had worked out where it was coming from even if she didn’t know what it was! Touching the guard then looking at her hand was also fascinating to see too because I imagine it was wierd that warm was sticking to her hand but there was nothing to see?

All this soon lost its appeal and she went on her way but for me it was one of the most interesting things I’ve ever seen!
