Went to the dentist on Tuesday and he said you need to come back next week because you have an awful lot of plaque built up between your teeth and need a scale and polish? That’s fine because that’s why I have gone to the dentist every six months for forty years, the thing is he mentioned gum disease because its bad?
For the last 6 years I have gone to the same dentist, who has now retired, and have NEVER spent more than 2 or 3 minutes in the chair where he would count me teeth and say see you in six months. Now the new dentist is saying the plaque build up is so bad that I have gum disease? I think I need to ask some questions when I go on Wednesday after all I paid for a scale and polish everytime I went I just assumed I didn’t need one as he must know best!
