My Brother

3 Mar

I am writing this because he gave me something, and it just made me realise just how much I love my brother and that it has absolutly nothing to do with what he just gave me?

He asked me a week or two back if I wanted a copy of Windows 7 home premium to which I said yes but never mentioned it again and forgot about it until he called with a card for our anniversary on Sunday saying here is a copy of Windows 7….! A material ‘gift’ but sort of sums up to me what he is all about!

My brother is a “giver” whether it be time, advice, help, support etc you name it my brother would move heaven and earth to help the people he loves and asks for nothing in return. It is so reasuring to know that if I picked a phone up or called at his house he would stop what he was doing just to talk to me.

Although as kids we may have had a typical sibling relationship or should I say rivalry I think he certainly has become the person I most respect and apart from Jamie is the first person I would turn to in a crisis because I know he would be there for me!

I see him as the head of the family, the person we all call because he’ll know what to do, we are all looked after by him!

He will read this, and yes I will be embarrassed the next time I see him because these are things I would never say to him in person but I know more than most that lifes too short not to tell the people you love how you feel because you might regret not saying it one day…

Proud to call you “R KID” and thanks for everything you do!
