Time to say goodbye to Chicago and head off to the airport to get on a plane to Denver to see Grandma Nemily and Grandpa, but first we said goodbye to Chris who had arrived just to see us off and say thank you again to Johanna Wyatt and Mags for a great day
I have not spoken much about the pain Jamie suffers everyday from her back which since the children were born has progressively got worse. It is at a stage now where having been to the doctors on numerous occasions she has a cabinet full of pain drugs but non really do the trick anymore.
Having spent a some quality time with Troy and Angie and their beautiful family we set off to visit Chris Johanna and their family unfortunately Chris wasn’t there but Johanna really pulled out all the stops to show us Chicago and we could not have asked for a better guide

I still don’t get it one year on but the smile on Jamie’s face was a sight to behold all day

One year ago today we were enjoying our first full day in Dekalb visiting Troy Angie and their fantastic family
Over the next couple of weeks I intend to document our vacation from 2013 and will tag them with 1Y We had booked packed and now it was time for Mommy Nannie Reagan Lincoln and me to go to the airport and fly to see Grandma
We missed sports day last year because we flew off to see Grandma 12 months ago to the day but today both Reagan and Lincoln had been bursting to take part in today’s sports day.
With the sun already out there was only one place to eat breakfast
