Thursday night past like every other night and we ate tea played and eventually got the children into bed, the next morning I found Reagan sat on the towel hamper at the top of the stairs, crying. She said she hurt her head when she was asleep which I assumed was that she’d fallen out of bed. So because it was only 6:30am so I comforted her and put her back into bed and returned to our bed. An impromptu walk back from Nannies house took us up ‘Popperty Johns’ and over the lime beds and it was lovely to just wander along seeing what we could see without the need to rush…
We took Lincoln to see his first movie at the cinema today and although he loved the experience he wss tired and fell asleep for the last half hour or so

Why do we do it? Jamie has taken to gardening this year and is as keen as anyone even though she lacks knowledge (possibly) and experience (definitely) she is easily the keenest gardener by far. Yes she has made mistakes but she has a crop of herbs, vegetables and fruits she should be proud of but nature always has a ‘joker’ to play a card in her hand that will test any gardeners resolve. Three things that happened today:
Lincoln really has a moment walking over the ‘glass’ floor at the playbarn. It was soooo interesting watching him face his apprehensions as he steps onto a glass floor and once on there slide his front foot before taking the step before becoming confident enough to stand on it and wave to us. It was even more interesting to watch him have the same reservations each time he crossed it. Read more
