Last night Reagan went to bed in big girl knickers and guess what…
We have struggled a little since returning from our holiday to get both children back on track with disciline and routine but one of the major successes in achieving great results is their reward charts certainly in Reagans case but Lincoln also responds too. Anyway Lincoln last night got to number 10 and recieved a monster book to read at bed time. Reagan on the other hand had lost a couple of spaces when she forgot what not doing what she’s told meant, no reward or a loss of a space. Read more

Three things that happened today:
Lincoln really has a moment walking over the ‘glass’ floor at the playbarn. It was soooo interesting watching him face his apprehensions as he steps onto a glass floor and once on there slide his front foot before taking the step before becoming confident enough to stand on it and wave to us. It was even more interesting to watch him have the same reservations each time he crossed it. Read more
I am sat here in Pam (Grandma’s) dinning room listening to her trying to get Reagan off to sleep and the two of them are giggling like TWO little kids on a sleep over. It is really cute though! Grandma keeps saying one two three sleep then there is a few seconds silence and then Reagan giggles followed closely by Grandma, then there’s a bit of whispering and Reagan then says one two three sleep.
This could go on for a long time…
The long planned trip to waterworld as a treat from Auntie Nemily was something both children had been looking forward to but I think they just thought it was going to be a swimming pool, little did they or even I know quite what waterworld was. Read more

Leaving Dekalb we headed to Chris and Johanna’s who live a lot closer to O’Hare airport and offered to show us around Chicago so when we got to their house it was left to Johanna, to show us Chicago because Chris had to work. We had an itinerary of places to see and we set off to walk to the train station a mile away and the weather was hot and humid but it was nice to get out into it again and walk. Read more
