Mommy took a friend to hospital tonight, as planned, there was no emergancy but straight afer bathtime mommy left and I know she heard Reagan screaming as she left but she could never have imagined that 2 hours later reagan would still be screaming?
Mommy left at 1950ish and Reagan was already screaming and for the next 20 minutes I listened to this all the time it was grating away at my inner resolve I went to her told her told lay down covered her and gave her a dummy
She screamed as I left the room and carried on screaming until I went to her again after maybe 10 minutes this time staying with her stroking her hair and shhhhhing her to sleep which took 15minutes
As I got up to leave the room she screamed again and I left her to it for 20minutes but as my nerves were shot to pieces by this time sitting downstairs in silence just listening to her screams I took my wine and my phone upto her room and sat with her until mommy came home to find a quiet house but me upstairs sat with an awake Reagan but a quiet Reagan as she entered the room I just got up and went downstairs saying she has been screaming since you left.
Mommy comforted Reagan and followed me downstairs but Reagan was screaming before she left the room?
I explained that there was nothing wrong because if you sit with her she is fine.
Over the next 45 minutes mommy tried all the things I had tried but in the end we just let her cry it out and after 2 hours she finally went to sleep. We are not sure what was wrong but this morning she got up as normal at around 7:30 and is completely fine.
