A bittersweet time on any Christmas day when we talk to Pam Cliff and Emily because even though its fantastic to video Skype and see each other on video it also makes Jamie slightly sad that they are not here with us (or visa versa)

Now Reagan interacts with Grandma on video and eventually so will Lincoln I am sure it will become a regular weekly event. I reckon a quick video skype while Grandma has her Sunday morning coffee each week would be a great idea?

Now on to lunch and this is where Jamie excels in my opinion she is such a good cook and a great host too:

This Christmas I can honestly say was the best feeling I have ever had because we played Santa and that was so special, our childrens Christmas was down to us and the excitement was our to build. It was BRILLIANT!

I would not have been anywhere else in the world than here with my family

Just the BEST!

Woke up this morning to find both Lincoln and Reagan have stuffy noses, which probably means they are or have both caught my cold BOOOO hopefully it will pass without too much fuss because no-one wants to be ill anytime but especially not over Christmas.

Even so we have carried on regardless with our plan to go get the meat from the butchers later and deliver the last cards before we pick nannie up and wander in to town for a drink at the pub followed by a church service at 4 then maybe a cheaky little drink at the pub before teatime and monitoring Santa’s progress on Google Earth then bed to wait for the big man to arrive?

Hopefully I will get time later to tell you if this plan went to…plan?

Just received this at work and thought it was brilliant

After changing Lincoln’s nappy this morning I leant over him smiling in to his eyes hoping for a smile back which I got got but not before he grabbed my face first. He is at the stage where he is aware of his hands and is learning to control them so the pride and surprise too on his face when he managed to get both hands on my face was brilliant to to see and also his fascination as he felt my face for a moment or two

When I smiled again he lost his grip and a big smile broke across his face that would melt any heart and for me there is no better way to start a day than moments like that. This life just gets better and better!
